This is a complete range of calibrators and controls for proteinology with the following general specifications and applications:

3 level reference sera
 
These are three (human) sera in which 19 proteins at three concentrations are valued: normal, 2x normal and 3x normal.

The concentration of 13 proteins has been obtained by using the reference serum RPPHS (Reference Preparation for Proteins in Human Serum), certified reference material developed jointly by the CAP (College of American Pathologists), the BCR (Bureau Communitaire de Reference) and the IFCC (International Federation of Clinical Chemists).

For further information about this reference material, please consult the specifications of the RPPHS Lot #91/06 19 (CAP designation) and CRM 470 (BCR designation).

The concentration of the remaining six proteins has been obtained by using internal standards.
